Obtained his Professional Doctorate from Swinburne University of Technology in 2011. His research mainly focuses on Visual Communication and Creative Multimedia. Since graduated from Institut Teknologi MARA in 1999, Zaffwan has an extensive number of years in designing and lecturing within the area of Communication Design and Multimedia. He is also one of the panels of assessor for Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) in the area of Art & Design and Creative Multimedia. Zaffwan has been actively published, presented and exhibited both of his papers and artworks in various occasions. His recent work, which has been exhibited at Nikon Gallery and published, entitles; Lifescape: a photographic documentary, in 2015. He was also selected to represent Malaysia along with few other participants from ASEAN to participate in a Tourism Service Design Workshop, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Republic of Korea, in 2014.
